Internationally people are mad at Americans for electing supposedly a “bad person” as their president. However, in reality what they did is they elected a better candidate among the worse. Hillary just played politics whereas Trump went patriotic and patriotism always has precedence. If Trump manages to deliver his promises that helps bona fide Americans then Americans have done the right thing. His personal life and character doesn’t dictate his ability to run the country and bring prosperity to his nation. The rest of the world should concentrate on what they are doing for their nation rather than what Americans are doing for America. On second thought India also elected Modi on similar lines, however, so far, nothing good has come out of his governance.
Here are few pictures from my recent trip to San Diego in July, 2014. I went to San Diego to attend an academic conference organized by the Protein Society and by chance it coincided with the Comic Con. I couldn’t go inside the convention centre as the tickets were sold long back but I could experience whatever was happening outside.
