Fear of Missing Out (FoMO)

I always knew that there must be a term for the fear many people (including me) have that they are missing out the things which other people are doing or enjoying. Well now I know that it is called FEAR OF MISSING OUT (FoMO) 🙂 which is a recognized social anxiety. A compulsive concern that one might miss an opportunity for social interaction, a novel experience, profitable investment or other satisfying event. This is especially associated with modern technologies such as mobile phones and social networking services.
